Home Addition Projects
Constructing additions to existing structures is a process that is quite different from standard new construction. There are a number of important considerations that need to be made that are project specific. In other words, no two homes are alike and each present their own challenges.

This project was completed in a five month period. A gambrel roof design was used to complement the existing home. A large sunroom, laundry center, storage room, handicap accessible bathroom, and carport were added. Notice the cupola on top! Nearly 1000 heated square feet was added. I worked closely with the homeowner on the design, drew the plan, and constructed the building.
I designed and built a 200 square feet 3 season room, with a 800 square foot patio. I also designed and build a two car garage with office on the property.
I designed the addition of a Master Bedroom Suite for the Haneys. The addition was constructed over an open patio. We completely moved the existing bathroom to the ell and added nearly 800 square feet of space to the master bedroom suite.
This is a project currently in the budgeting phase. I have gotten approval on the plans. This will be my most comprehensive archive of construction in progress. Check this often over the next couple months. We should start construction in February 2008.
This project is currently under construction. The project was started in 2005 by another contractor. Soon after starting, the home-owner halted construction. Thank goodness he did because he would be in bad shape now if he hadn't. When I arrived on the job in late 2007 I saw that the original contractor had over-excavated the existing home's foundation and the footings he had formed were not placed correctly. Now I have taken over and the project is progressing nicely. This is a 2000+ heated sft addition with an elevator and nearly 1000 sft of porch.
